LOCATION & FACILITIES
Whitehill Allotments are located on the boundaries
of Reddish, Heaton Chapel and Heaton Norris.
The easiest way to find us is off the end of
Whitehill Street West, South Reddish at the end /
entrance of this street is the Ash Public house.
100 yards back are the entrance gates.
These gates being before the fire station
buildings and directly opposite Whitehill Junior
School.
Parking is ample along this road.
If you intend to visit contact a member of the
committee to meet you (details in another posting)
and please do not obstruct the gates - these could
be needed in an emergency.
Facilities include: a unisex toilet, a trading
store(which can supply basic sundries such as
fertilisers, canes, pots and peat etc)easy access
to the site and plots with a good quality roadway
(No parking on site),
water standpipes located at 6 points around
the site, a friendly atmosphere and a large
members hut with an active committee, which is
vital to keeping any site going, newsletters and
information on whats going on to keep you up to
date with society news!
Plus nice peaceful surroundings.
